Adolescents Part 2: External Influences: Internet, Peers, and Values

Presenter: Dr. David Pelcovitz

Adolescents Part 2: External Influences: Internet, Peers, and Values

Please enjoy this recorded event!

Our children are faced with so many more powerful influences over the Internet and other media than was true a generation ago. Since the typical adolescent often knows more about the intricacies of this new medium than do their parents we may be the first generation where children know more than their parents about one of the major shapers of values and attitudes. Practical recommendations for finding the right balance between love and limits in dealing with peer and media influences will be presented and followed by a question and answer period.

54321 David Bryfman Date: 04/07/09 Review: First of all I would like to say that my faith in webinars has been restored - this is by far the best technology that I have been exposed to. Second I would like to thank Dr. Pelcovitz for his insightful and informative presentation. I felt that the way he dealt with the subject matter and with questions was extremely rich and empathetic. Will definitely be tuning in for further sessions.
