In the next installment of our fascinating exploration of the Exodus, we will deal with these two central questions that frustrate Biblical researchers and demonstrate how a simple misunderstanding of Biblical texts continues to cause confusion. In the first part of the session, we will trace the path of the Israelites as they departed from Egypt and crossed through the Sea of Reeds--details which are pivotal in determining the location of Mt. Sinai. We'll explore this question during the latter part of the class and look at the most popular theories and how most of them are based on faulty assumptions.
