Rabbi David Fohrman

Rabbi David Fohrman is resident scholar at the Hoffberger Foundation for Torah Studies and an adjunct professor at the Johns Hopkins University, where he teaches Biblical Themes. He also teaches for Yeshivat Sha’alvim, and Yeshiva University’s Gruss Kollel in Jerusalem.

Residing in Nof Ayalon, Israel, with his wife and children, Rabbi Fohrman was educated at Ner Israel Rabbinical College, as well as the Johns Hopkins University.

Rabbi Fohrman has served for seven years as a writer and editor for ArtScroll’s Schottenstein Edition of the Talmud.

Judith Leventhal

Judith Leventhal is the co-author of the national best-selling Small Miracles series. Small Miracles has been translated into 14 languages with well over 2 million copies in print. In addition, the books have appeared on the New York Times bestseller list, and featured in USA Today, The Los Angeles Times, the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Cincinnati Inquirer, the Atlanta Journal Constitution, and the Religion Bestseller Chart of Publishers Weekly. Articles about Small Miracles and the authors have appeared in People Magazine, The New York Times, Newsday, The Jewish Week and many others. Small Miracles has been the subject of hundreds of radio and television shows, including "Oprah", "Leeza", "Good Day New York" , "Good Morning Atlanta" and "PBS' Evening Edition."

Judith is a much sought after speaker and lecturer. She has appeared on numerous television and radio programs. Her witty and inspirational style continues to captivate audiences around the world. Prior to embarking upon a writing and speaking career, she obtained a Masters of Social Work degree and worked as a psychotherapist in private practice. She currently lives in Brooklyn with her husband and their three children.

Dr. David Pelcovitz

Dr. Pelcovitz holds the Gwendolyn and Joseph Straus Chair in Psychology and Jewish Education at Yeshiva University's Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration where he is also the Special Assistant to the President. Serving for over two decades as Director of Psychology at North Shore University Hospital-NYU School of Medicine, and Clinical Professor of Psychology in Psychiatry, at NYU School of Medicine, he has consulted extensively with the Jewish community in the United States, Europe and Israel on a wide range of issues facing children and adolescents. Dr. Pelcovitz, who received his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, has published and lectured extensively on a variety of topics related to education, parenting and child mental health. Areas of research and clinical specialty include family violence, the impact of domestic violence, stress management, transmitting values to children and adolescents and coping with trauma and loss. Rabbi Ben Tzion Shafier

Rabbi Dovid Refson

Rabbi Dovid Refson is the founder and dean of Neve Yerushalayim College for Women in Jerusalem. Established in 1970, Neve offers introductory classes to women with little or no background knowledge in Judaism. Presently, Neve offers ten distinctive educational programs in four languages. With an enrolment of over 500 students, Neve is the largest institution of its kind in the world.

Rabbi Raphael Butler

Rabbi Raphael Butler is President of The Afikim Foundation and a leader in the field of Jewish outreach and informal and communal Jewish education. During his decades of service, he has founded a teachers training institute, directed NCSY worldwide, founded Yachad for the Developmentally Disabled, spearheaded Orthodox Union adult education and campus programs worldwide and presently oversees a global incubator of creative Jewish educational and cultural initiatives.
