Rabbi Amsel serves as Outreach Director of the Denver Community Kollel.
Before joining the Kollel as a founding scholar in February 1998, Rabbi Amsel studied at Beth Medrash Govoha in Lakewood, NJ, Brisk Yeshiva in Jerusalem, and Yeshiva of Telshe Alumni in Riverdale, NY. After receiving four years of training as a community scholar at the Kollel,
Rabbi Amsel was appointed Kollel outreach co-director.
Rabbi Amsel continues to study at the Kollel part-time. He currently leads several lunch and learns, runs the Fathers & Sons program, and gives shiurim throughout the week in East Denver.
